The TICT Bordeaux Red II is a specialised fluorocarbon shock leader developed for Japanese Light Game fishing.
It was designed with the characteristics of fine main lines in mind, particularly ester lines, providing a balanced combination of elasticity, strength and knot performance for lightweight rigs.
TICT also developed a specialised colouring process that reduces excessive light reflection from the leader, helping create a more discreet presentation in the water.
The coloured leader has another practical advantage: its visibility makes it easier to see the line when tying knots, which is particularly useful when working with very fine main lines.
