Q: Do I have to pay customs fees or import taxes when ordering from Ajing.store?

No! This is our biggest advantage. Ajing.store is based in and dispatches all orders from Portugal. If you are ordering from within the European Union (EU), your package will arrive directly at your door with absolutely zero customs fees, import duties, or hidden taxes.

Q: How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?

We offer very fast dispatch across Europe. Shipping is completely FREE for orders over €50 within Portugal, and FREE for orders over €150 throughout the rest of Europe. For orders below these amounts, the shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your exact location.

Gear & Technical Advice

Q: Are your Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) products authentic?

Yes, 100% authentic. We specialize exclusively in premium Japanese finesse brands that are notoriously hard to find in Europe, such as ClearBlue, Gosen, Slash, and Rudie's. We source high-end JDM tackle so you can fish with the exact same gear used by Ajing professionals in Japan.

Q: I am a beginner. Should I buy a Solid Tip or a Tubular Tip Ajing rod?

It depends on your fishing style.

  • Solid Tip (S): Highly flexible and bends easily when a fish inhales the lure. It practically sets the hook itself and is perfect for casting micro-jigs under 1.5g and fishing "on the fall."

  • Tubular Tip (T): Hollow and stiffer, offering unmatched tactile sensitivity. You will feel every rock and bite vibrate in your hand. It is better for heavier lures (up to 5g+), micro-metals, and aggressive darting actions.

Q: What is the best line for Ajing: PE Braid or Polyester (Ester)?

Both are excellent, but they serve different purposes:

  • Polyester (Ester): Sinks in the water and has zero stretch, making it the ultimate choice for fishing ultra-light jig heads (under 1g) in calm harbor conditions. It cuts through the wind perfectly.

  • Micro PE Braid (x4 or x8): Floats, but is incredibly strong and casts very far. It is great for heavier jigs, windy conditions, and handling larger bycatch. Always use a fluorocarbon leader with PE braid!
